·      Romania endorses the adoption of a solid treaty which will regulate the conventional arms trade worldwide

On  February 15, 2013 Romania was nominated by the Eastern European Group for one of the three positions of Vice-President, allotted to the Group, to the Diplomatic Conference to negotiate an Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). Romania will be represented by Mrs. Nineta BÄÉrbulescu, Director General, Department for Export Controls, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania. Order no. 156/2018 of minister of foreign affairs for the approval the List of military goods subject to control regime of export, import and other transfers of military goods (published in Romanian Official Journal, Part I, no. 86 from 30 January 2018). Order no. 826/2017 fully transposes Commission Directive 2017/2054/EU of 8 November 2017 amending Directive 2009/43/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list of defense-related products.
